Rabat - The Bank of China considers opening a representation in Morocco, Executive Vice President of the Bank Yue Yi, currently on a working visit in Morocco, said on Monday in Rabat.
"We hope to open in the near future a representation of the Bank of China in Morocco," Yue Yi told the press following a meeting between a Chinese delegation and head of government Abdelilah Benkirane.
The said delegation came to inspect the Moroccan market economically and financially to study the feasibility of setting up a branch in Morocco, he said.
Yue Yi also expressed the will by the financial body to discover business opportunities in the national market with the aim of reinforcing economic and investment ties with the Kingdom.
