Madrid- Spain lauded on Wednesday cooperation with Morocco in the fight against illegal immigration and monitoring illegal immigration inflows.
During a meeting in Madrid under the chairmanship of Spanish interior minister Jorge Fernandez Diaz, emphasis was laid on the cooperation of Moroccan authorities in intercepting and rescuing immigrants in the waters of the Strait of Gibraltar.
Participants highlighted efforts made by Morocco in monitoring illegal immigration inflows which attempt to reach Spanish shores, said the minister in a statement.
