Fez- According to a recent report conducted by the Spanish Permanent Observatory for Migration under the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, published last Wednesday, the number of Moroccans living in Spain with legal status as of 31 December 2013 reached a total of 785,180, out of 4.9 million foreigners.
Based on this number, the Moroccan community in Spain represents 33 per cent of the total foreign population in the country.
According to the same figures, the number of Moroccans living in Spain witnessed a decline of about 10 thousand immigrants in the period between March 31 and December 31 of 2013.
The same figures show that the number of Moroccans women in Spain amounted to 324,000 compared to 460 thousand men.
