RAM to Launch a New Route Between Washington D.C and Casablanca

Rabat - Moroccan carrier Royal Air Maroc (RAM) plans to launch a new route linking Casablanca to Washington D. C. next year.

A report by Air Journal  said flights between Mohammed V International Airport  in Casablanca and Washington Dulles Airport, will be officially launched on September 8th, 2016.

The new route will be operated three days a week with Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners, according to the same source.

Reservation for this new route flights is now open, effective for travel on/after September, 8th, 2016.

Washington has become the Moroccan company’s second destination in the United States, after New York.

This new route will be the only non-stop link between North Africa and Washington. In addition to Morocco, the new route will also serve other North African countries and the rest of the Continent thanks to RAM’s network based on its Casablanca hub.

Statistics say 20,000 passengers a year fly between Morocco and Washington, a market that has grown for the last three consecutive years.
